Lead Front End Developer (React)

Our client, an NFT investor platform is looking for a Lead Front End Developer (React) for a long term engagement to help build sophisticated tools for a video game based NFT investment platform.

Responsibilities

Determining the structure and design of web pages
Ensuring user experience determines design choices
Developing features to enhance the user experience
Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones
Building reusable code for future use
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a front end developer

Good experience with modern front end technologies React / React Native

5+ years of experience with JavaScript

Experience with UI

Proficiency in HTML and CSS

Exposure to Open source development

Experience with responsive and adaptive design

Experience with Typescript an asset

Experience with NextJS an asset

Excellent Verbal Communication Skills

Good problem-solving skills

Attention to detail

This is a long term remote based contract or permanent position (based on preference) – 40 hours / week.
