  • Deliver training sessions for access control and fire products.
  • Develop training schedules and manage an online learning center.

  • Troubleshoot technical field issues and communicate effectively with service departments.
  • Train internal employees on the product portfolio.
  • Create fire and access control product demo panels.
  • Develop internal and field application guides for the products.
  • Work with the production team to resolve production/hardware issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve hardware/software issues and support new feature implementation across fire and access control product lines.
  • Partner with engineering and test departments to resolve test and product‑related issues.
  • Work with the RMA department to resolve hardware issues and perform deeper component‑level testing and analysis.
  • Support the Product Management team with product roadmap initiatives.
  • Assist sales teams with RFQs.
  • Troubleshoot and support technical field issues, while communicating internal issues to the service department.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and procedures.

Requirements and Skills:

  • College Diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications such as NFPA are considered an asset.
  • 3–5 years minimum of experience in a bi-lingual training role, ideally within security systems, fire alarm, or life safety industries.
  • Strong expertise in designing and delivering technical & “hands-on” training programs, via the use of AI software utilizing adult learning principles for diverse audiences. This includes the development of one-sheet Job Aids, Student Workbooks, development of advanced Quiz and in-class exercises.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead training sessions and bridge communication between cross-functional teams (sales, technical support, production, QA, engineering).
  • In-depth technical knowledge of building automation/voice entry/access control and if possible also fire product lines, including hardware and software, to troubleshoot escalated issues effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strong ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • High attention to detail in documentation is a must. If applicable, please showcase samples of training materials created in interview.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), AI-driven training content development tools, AI-driven video production tools and other training technologies.
  • Ability to design demo panels and create comprehensive application guides for our products.
  • Experience supporting product roadmap development and assisting sales teams with RFQs.
  • Capability to troubleshoot hardware issues and work with RMA teams for in-depth analysis.
  • Flexibility to manage ad-hoc tasks and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Must be able to travel across Canada and occasionally to the United States for training delivery.
