On behalf of our legal industry client, Procom is searching for a Director, Financial Applications for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Director, Financial Applications - Job Description :
Reporting to the CIO, and working in close collaboration with the CFO, IT and Finance leadership teams, as well as strategic stakeholders, the role will be responsible for establishing a Community of Excellence (CoE) to oversee the day-to-day running of our core finance systems (SAP, Chrome River, Coupa). In the immediate term, this role will work closely with our managed service provider to oversee the migration of SAP to a cloud platform. The Director will manage the transition, ensuring business continuity and operational excellence, while acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and vendors.
Director, Financial Applications - Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning and execution of the SAP migration to a cloud platform, ensuring data integrity and minimal business disruption.
- Oversee daily operations, system performance, and reliability for all assigned financial applications.
- Coordinate updates, patches, and maintenance with vendors, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
- Manage incident escalation, support tickets, and service requests for all financial systems.
- Align financial systems strategy with vendor roadmaps and managed service models.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, translating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular risk assessments.
