As a Machine Operator, you will assist in maintaining high manufacturing efficiencies while delivering a high-quality product in a safe, clean, and collaborative environment. This Machine Operator role is ideal for individuals who possess strong technical aptitude, an understanding of production procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems. From reading blueprints and schematics to performing routine equipment checks and ensuring product precision, the Machine Operator plays a pivotal role in keeping our client’s manufacturing lines running smoothly.

Afternoon Shift - 3pm - 11:15pm
Night - 11pm- 7:15am

Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing machinery to ensure smooth production flow and high manufacturing efficiencies.
• Perform routine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in a safe and clean manufacturing environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, operating manuals, and production schedules accurately.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet exact specifications and client standards.
• Identify potential operational or maintenance issues early and report or resolve them to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace adhering strictly to occupational health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, shift leads, and maintenance personnel across both afternoon and night shifts.
• Accurately record production data, output logs, and equipment maintenance notes during each shift.

Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Worker, or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to work either the afternoon shift or night shift consistently.
• Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards.
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
