This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Engineering Manager to join our team in the Vancouver office .

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, primarily providing technical expertise as well as guidance and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign‑off of the project’s engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with the Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Be responsible for the performance of the design team regarding schedule, budget and resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.

About you

  • A bachelor’s degree, ideally Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment with proven experience in a leadership role. Experience in either Gold, Rare Earths or Nickel is advantageous.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
