Job description

What you do CenterLine (Windsor) is now accepting applications for Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprentice .

Responsible for building, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairs of machinery and mechanical systems.

The successful applicant must be currently enrolled in an Industrial Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship Program or have recently completed their apprenticeship schooling and be pursuing Red Seal certification.

What we’re looking for Fulfill all requirements of apprenticeship contract as per the Ministry of Education and Training guidelines.

Willingness to complete theoretical training as per government regulation and pass required exams.

Demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks safely and effectively under the direction of a supervisor or Journeyman, with progressive independence and minimal supervision as skills and experience develop.

Perform assembling, dismantling and installation of machinery and equipment.

Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.

Ability to follow direction and work as a team.

Eagerness to learn and grow within the trade.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and passport.

Ability to travel within Canada, USA, and Mexico.

What you need to succeed Currently enrolled in an Industrial Mechanical Millwright Apprenticeship Program or have recently completed their apprenticeship schooling and pursuing Red Seal certification..

Secondary school diploma, required.

Manufacturing experience required.

Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, employees work in a clean, air-conditioned plant, receive overtime pay after 40 hours and per diem if scheduled for out-of-town travel.

Wage Range: $22.00 - $36.00 / hour – commensurate with experience This posting is to fill an existing vacancy.
