Job description
Job description:
- Monday to Friday (6:00am to 2:30pm)
- Assembling custom equipment using hand tools under minimum direction from Supervisor
- Correctly read and interpret assembly drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams
- Effectively set up a workstation and assemble product within expected times while minimizing scrap and rework
- Effectively braze and fit pipe together based on assembly drawings
- Effectively insulates equipment on custom units
- Comply with all safety regulations and work in a safe manner
- Maintain mechanical equipment in the department
- Perform duties in a timely manner
- Other duties as they may be assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of brazing experience
- Proficient at repairs and troubleshooting
- Able to read blueprints and assembly drawings
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, doing repetitive tasks
- Able to multi-task and prioritize workloads
- Good attendance record
- Able to effectively communicate with colleagues and Supervisor
