Location: Burnaby, BC

Wage: $20 - 25/hour

Shift: AM & PM

Job Description

Join our team in the manufacturing of medical devices where precision and efficiency are key. This role involves working collaboratively on a production line with a focus on assembling units using small hand tools and adhering to written English instructions. You will be trained across 12 stations over 2-3 months and may occasionally work alone. Be prepared for a fast-paced environment where teamwork is crucial to avoid bottlenecks.

The casual dress code is complemented by strict cleanroom guidelines prohibiting cosmetics, jewelry, and other personal items. Enjoy a supportive team of about 60 people on the production floor

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to complete production orders efficiently.
• Assemble units using small hand tools following written English instructions.
• Rotate through 12 stations during the training period.
• Maintain a fast-paced work ethic to ensure smooth production line flow.
• Work in a cleanroom environment as needed, standing throughout the shift.
• Label products, seal packaging pouches, and perform other tasks in the cleanroom.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production line.
• Proficiency in using small hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
• Ability to do both electrical and mechanical assembly
• Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Soldering experience.
• PCB assembly experience in a regulated environment.
• Ability to read soldering instructions and match numbers to wires.
