Job Title: Assembler - Night
Job Description

This position involves assembling parts based on drawings and procedures using tools and fasteners. The role is crucial in ensuring the final product meets all specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of subassembly and final assembly operations for units of various shapes and sizes.
• Follow established methods and procedures to complete designated assemblies using hand and power tools and test equipment.
• Conduct, analyze, and record test results to ensure quality and compliance.
• Ensure all jobs meet the requirements before leaving the work center.
• Meet or exceed established production levels and participate in supplier development.

Essential Skills

• 1.5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience working with blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience in electrical assembly is a plus.

Why Work Here?

You will be eligible for profit sharing after one year with the company, with the contract time counting towards this period. Profit sharing amounts to 10%, approximately $10,000 per year, added into an RRSP account. Enjoy working in a friendly environment with supportive supervisors.

Work Environment

This role is within a medium-sized manufacturing company with six assembly workstations, eight welding cells, a paint booth, and an epoxy mold department equipped with over ten machines. The facility spans over 200,000 square feet, is very clean, brightly lit, and features high ceilings. During the paid lunch break on the night shift, employees are required to remain on the premises.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
