Job Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be responsible for the operational stability, reliability, and availability of a large‑scale, global IVR and contact center platform supporting mission‑critical customer interaction flows.
In this role, you will focus on production operations, system monitoring, incident response, and reliable deployments across AWS‑based cloud and on‑premises environments. You will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted customer access to IVR services and maintaining platform health across infrastructure, application, and voice layers.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with IVR Engineers, Application Architects, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, QA, and external partners to support releases, investigate production issues, and continuously improve platform stability and observability. This role requires strong technical foundations in cloud infrastructure, networking, and voice systems, combined with an operations‑first, production‑focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational stability, availability, and reliability of a global IVR platform across AWS and on‑premises environments
- Support production deployments, environment configuration, and release activities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of high‑availability IVR and voice platforms
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using logs and metrics
- Respond to and participate in production incident investigation and resolution
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, voice, SIP, and call‑flow‑related issues
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and analytics teams during incidents and releases
- Participate in on‑call rotations and off‑hours production support as required
- Integrate security best practices ("secure-by-default") into the pipeline, including access control and vulnerability scanning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting production systems in a DevOps, SRE or operations‑focused role
- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Strong hands‑on experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and VPC networking
- Strong experience with Unix/Linux production environments
- Experience supporting AWS‑hosted relational databases (e.g., Amazon Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL) in production environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices
- Ability to run network and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
- Strong troubleshooting, investigation, and production‑support skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, architecture, data, and operations teams

- Programming in Golang
- Experience with CloudFormation
