Job descriptionDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Technology from a recognized university or college Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Previous construction or consulting experience is considered an asset Experience with building enclosure rehabilitation Strong project management skills and the ability to manage the performance of others Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose building performance issues Proven team player who fosters collaboration and cooperation Fast learner with the ability to develop both technical and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities Strong work ethic with a willingness to assume responsibility quickly Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, technical staff, and sub-consultants Ability to gather and analyze information, interpret drawings and data, and assess the condition of multiple building components

Key Responsibilities
- Manage building science projects from conceptual design through construction completion for existing buildings
- Conduct site investigations and condition assessments of existing buildings
- Coordinate with other engineering and architectural disciplines
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
