  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

  • Participate in implementation planning, project meetings, timelines, and deployment activities.

  • Assist in payroll parallel testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation validation.

  • Identify and troubleshoot system defects, configuration issues, and process gaps, escalating as necessary.

System Testing & Validation

  • Develop and execute detailed test scripts for payroll processes, integrations, and system enhancements.

  • Validate payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, and employee data accuracy.

  • Document testing outcomes, deficiencies, and corrective actions clearly.

  • Support end-to-end testing during system upgrades, patches, and process changes.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze payroll and HR data to ensure system integrity, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities during implementation phases.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to support project tracking, payroll reconciliation, and operational decision-making.

  • Investigate discrepancies and provide data-driven recommendations for resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Act as a liaison between Payroll, HR, IT, Operations, and implementation partners.

  • Provide functional support and guidance to end users during implementation and stabilization periods.

  • Develop training materials, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Support change management initiatives related to payroll transformation projects.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll workflows and improve system functionality.

  • Recommend enhancements to payroll processes, reporting capabilities, and system integrations.

  • Contribute to long-term payroll optimization and automation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience working with SAP SuccessFactors
  • SAP Certified - SAP HCM Payroll for SAP S/4HANA with strong functional knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related discipline
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation, transformation, or functional support roles
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processes, data structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience with system testing, UAT coordination, and data validation.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: PCP designation or payroll-related certification is considered a significant asset.

Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a project environment.

  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient with payroll systems, reporting tools, and data analysis.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across departments and with external vendors.

  • Organization: Highly organized with strong documentation and process management skills.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating system updates and organizational change.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive Compensation: A salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 based on experience.

  • Hands-on Growth: Gain deep experience with SAP SuccessFactors and complex payroll environments.

  • High Impact: Play a pivotal role in large-scale system implementations and transformations.

  • Career Path: Collaborative environment with opportunities to grow into Senior Payroll, Systems, or Business Analysis roles.

  • Location: Head Office (New Westminster, BC)

  • Department: Human Resources

  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
