Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in data transformation, modeling, and secure data sharing. Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Data Lakes. Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., HITRUST, FHIR) and compliance frameworks. Experience with data migration to Azure platforms. Knowledge of metadata management and data cataloging tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview). Familiarity with federated data lakehouse models. Background in performance tuning and optimization for cloud-based data systems. Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Computer Science) or equivalent specialization. Contract duration : January 27, 2025, to August 29, 2025 , with potential extensions of up to 12 months . Hybrid work arrangement : Primarily remote with in-office attendance as required. Candidates must provide their own hardware unless otherwise specified by the Client.
On behalf of our Healthcare Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Solutions Architect – Secure Data Movement Enablement to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is hybrid (remote with office days as required) , and the Client is based in Victoria .
Summary of the Role :
This role supports a project focused on building a secure and compliant framework for data sharing among organizations. The successful candidate will help modernize the Client's data warehouse using cloud technologies, implement a federated data lakehouse model, and enable role-based access controls to support secure and scalable data sharing.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions for secure data sharing and storage.
- Modernize the Client's data warehouse using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
- Develop ETL / ELT pipelines and manage large healthcare datasets.
- Configure role-based access controls, metadata management, and data cataloging.
- Pilot federated data lakehouse models to simulate real-world data sharing scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and data governance policies.
