  • Maintain and verify 0% gas environments during welding, cutting, and hot work operations.
  • Coordinate field activities with contractors, operations personnel, emergency services, and client representatives.
  • Support temporary bypass installation, commissioning, monitoring, and decommissioning activities.
  • Monitor operational conditions during critical activities and respond appropriately to changing field conditions.
  • Complete operational reporting, gas release notifications, field documentation, and compliance records.
  • Ensure clear communication and delineation of responsibilities between all parties involved in the work scope.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture throughout all phases of project execution.
Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising high-pressure natural gas pipeline maintenance, construction, or operational activities.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Pipeline isolations
    • Lockout/tagout procedures
    • Flaring and purging operations
    • Gas handling and atmospheric monitoring
    • Commissioning and decommissioning activities
  • Experience acting as Prime Contractor, Employee-in-Charge, or Operations Lead is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Strong understanding of safe work practices, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Valid safety certifications including:
    • H₂S Alive
