Summary:

Turf maintenance staff are the primary caretakers of the golf course and perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks range from the operation of light equipment to manual maintenance and construction tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all areas of the golf course for aesthetics and playability (tees, greens, fairways, rough, hazards, bunkers, and natural areas).
• Operating equipment for maintaining all areas of the course (tees, greens, fairways, rough, bunkers, etc.)
• Performing manual labor including bunker maintenance, push mowing, string trimming, digging, weeding, raking, pin changing, fertilizing, collecting garbage, and maintaining course washrooms.
• Work proficiently under the direction of supervisors, and complete assigned tasks within given time limits.
• Operate machinery and complete tasks safely, ensuring all tools and equipment are cleaned and cared for at the conclusion of each shift.
  

Qualifications

● Must be physically fit and capable of manual labor and lifting
● Willingness to work in various weather conditions (rain, cold, heat).
● Valid driver's license required
● Availability for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
