Job description

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial automation projects, from single-robot work cells to complex, multi-robot assembly and welding systems, for a growing integration company.

This role is focused on owning projects from kickoff through customer acceptance, delivering on scope, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong, long-term customer relationships.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is technically fluent, highly organized, and confident managing cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and installation

Key Responsibilities

  • Own project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from order intake through final buyoff
  • Manage multiple automation projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost tracking
  • Lead project kickoffs, design reviews, internal milestones, and customer reviews
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical design, controls, tooling, manufacturing, and installation
  • Track budgets, labour hours, and material costs; identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and commercial risks
  • Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, and customer expectations

  • Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in automation and integration
  • Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with PLC/robot programming, tooling design, and controls integration (literacy required, hands-on not required)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is an asset
  • G2/G class driver's license
