We have an immediate need for a Computer Support Specialist to join our Digital Technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in the end user support for the company computer systems. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

What You Will Do:

• Providing Tier1 Technical support for Information Systems and devices
• Assembling configuring/upgrading PCs and peripherals
• Installation of operating systems
• Loading of application software
• Troubleshooting PC issues
• Organizing and managing asset inventories
• Network cable termination and port configuration
• User management in Windows Active Directory
• Logical data access management
• Document bi-weekly capture team meetings, distribute meeting notes and action items, and support timely completion of follow-ups.
• Monitor capture team training and compliance requirements, following up on overdue items as needed to support readiness and audit requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• HS Diploma or post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related field with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems
• Understanding of key networking concepts
• Experience working within a Microsoft Office environment including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent time management and technical data management skills
• Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including professional interaction with internal stakeholders and leadership.

• Comfort working in a regulated, manufacturing, or technical environment.
• Ability to anticipate needs, identify gaps, and proactively resolve issues without close supervision

Raytheon ELCAN is located in Midland Ontario, a community known for its technological advancements. Midland offers a perfect blend of urban amenities and natural beauty nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, making it an ideal place to work, grow, and belong.

The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process.
