Summary
Reporting to the Project Engineering Supervisor – Major Projects, the Project Engineer/Technologist is a fundamental asset to the engineering process bringing innovation and ingenuity to the team. The successful candidate will manage a wide variety of tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This is a temporary role on a 12-month Term and isbased out of the Enerflex South East Calgary office at 4700 47th St SE, Calgary.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
Under the supervision of a Project Engineering Supervisor, the successful candidate will:
- Perform engineering calculations based on applicable codes and standards Work with other departments to ensure alignment Review Enerflex standards and procedures Review AutoCAD drawings Prepare engineering documents, tools and manuals
Qualifications
- Registration with APEGA or ASET is required (P.Eng, P.L. Eng, PTech eng, CET)
- 8+ years engineering experience. Mechanical, manufacturing or chemical engineering is preferred.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Aptitude to learn new skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
