Job description
Are you an organized and reliable Shipper/Receiver looking for a permanent career opportunity? Randstad is seeking a dedicated individual to act as the primary contact for all materials and tools within a busy yard environment. If you excel at inventory management, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining a safe, highly efficient workspace, we want you on our team!

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a highly competitive wage of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. You will enjoy a consistent schedule working Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with overtime as required). We are looking for the right candidate to start ASAP!



Advantages

Take ownership of the yard space, acting as the primary point of contact for all materials, tools, and deliveries.
Stay active and engaged with a great mix of physical material handling, coordination, and inventory management.

Responsibilities
Utilize a scheduling system to coordinate, track, and provide trucking for the delivery of materials to job sites while managing yard resources.
Maintain highly accurate inventory records, provide routine performance and status reports, and utilize Basic Excel for tracking
Implement efficient storage methods to maximize yard space utility, keeping upcoming jobs accessible and materials safe from damage or weathering
Inspect materials and equipment to ensure proper working conditions while strictly implementing and maintaining workplace safety standards.
Store materials in an orderly manner, safely execute physical labor, and fulfill other general yard and warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent) with proven experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Basic Excel; experience with routine maintenance operations is a strong asset.
Must have the physical ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs and work in conditions requiring specialized PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses/goggles).
A valid driver’s license is strictly required.
Must be able to work independently in a busy environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
