If you like staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-moving, high-energy team, this could be the job for you. At Kal Tire in Acheson, we're hiring a Shipper Receiver.

Do you thrive on physical work? In this role, you’ll spend your shift moving, lifting, and stacking tires, lots of them. It’s not a desk job. It’s not light work. It’s about keeping the warehouse running by doing the kind of work that builds strength, teamwork, and satisfaction.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

Monday-Friday shift rotation or straight afternoons available:

7:00 am -3:00 pm & 3:30 pm-11:30 pm:

Responsibilities:

  • Standard Forklift: Stock and order picking according to daily demand.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Efficiently manage the incoming and outgoing flow of tires and wheels.
  • Physical Stamina: Excel in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and movement throughout the shift.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area, contributing to the overall organization of the store's warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Forklift Experience: Standard Forklift with TSP experience is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a clean and valid driver’s license (preferred).
  • Commitment to Safety: Prioritize safety and contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift and maneuver large tires.
  • Previous experience: Shipping and receiving work experience is a plus.

This is repetitive, physical work. You’ll be on your feet your entire shift; moving, lifting, and working as part of a strong, reliable team.
