SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Mixed-Use & Commercial

Location : Calgary, AB

Salary : Commensurate with experience

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

We’re representing a highly respected, award-winning real estate developer seeking a Development or Senior Development Manager to join their Calgary team. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of mixed-use and commercial projects—planning, budgeting, construction, and delivery—acting as the owner’s representative throughout.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Development & Project Management

Assist in financial modeling, budgeting, and project scheduling
Lead consultant procurement and coordination during design and pre-construction
Track costs, permits, and progress to ensure alignment with business objectives
Support leasing efforts, tenant coordination, and reporting for stakeholders

Construction Management

Manage site activities, contractors, and schedules through to completion

Oversee procurement strategies, contracts (CCDC), and change orders

Monitor risk, quality, and costs while supporting project closeout and handover

Collaborate with legal, finance, and property management on key deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related field

7+ years’ experience in real estate development, project, or construction management

Proven leadership with strong technical and analytical skills

Experience with CCDC contracts, multi-disciplinary teams, and budgeting

Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative
