Our client is an iconic food producer that's been in business for well over 100 years. This dynamic company is confidentially looking to hire a Data Compliance & Governance Manager. The Data Compliance and Governance Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and frameworks that ensure data is accurate, accessible, secure, and aligned with business needs. This role focuses on enhancing data quality and usability across the organization while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
The successful candidate will develop and enforce data governance standards, oversee data quality management, and mitigate data-related risks throughout the data lifecycle. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, the Data Compliance and Governance Manager will play a key role in promoting best practices for data management and ensuring that data is leveraged effectively to support business objectives.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems, particularly in material master data and BOM management.
- Working knowledge of GS1 standards and data synchronization platforms such as 1WorldSync. is an asset.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data lifecycle management, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA, or similar).
