Job description

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler looking for a stable job with great pay in the manufacturing industry? Apply today to join our dynamic team in Oakville, Ontario, as an Assembler! We are seeking dedicated individuals to contribute to the high-quality production of our products on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures, strictly adhering to blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Inspect parts and finished products for defects and quality compliance, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Perform basic machine operation and adjustments as required for the assembly process.
  • Track production data, including units assembled and time spent, accurately filling out necessary documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and kitting components for assembly.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an assembler in a manufacturing or production environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, or work instructions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
  • Proven record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
