The Region of Durham's Long Term Care Division is currently seeking Recreation Programmers (Part- Time) for multiple locations :
- Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa
- Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa
- Fairview Lodge, Whitby
- Lakeview Manor, Beaverton
Recreation Programmer
The incumbent will :
The successful applicant will possess :
Knowledge of safe work practices and infection prevention protocols.
Hours of work : You will be scheduled a combination of day and afternoon shifts (8AM- 4PM and 12PM- 8PM) including 2 up to 3 weekends per month. Schedules are prepared and posted based on operational needs of the home. We do not schedule based on your availability or another employer's schedule.
Recreation Programmer Salary Information
Conditions of Employment
All applicants are expected to comply with the Region of Durham's Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct Policies throughout the recruitment process. The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check dated within two (2) months from date of hire. Additionally, tuberculosis screening will be required in accordance with the FLTC Act (O.Reg. 246 / 22). Proof of education, qualifications and any other job bona fide requirements will also be collected. Finally, compliance with the Mask Fit Testing Program is required and will be coordinated as part of the orientation process.
