Job description

Salary: $70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • We look for at least 3 years of progressive IT experience, including administration of Microsoft 365 environments.
  • We expect a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practical experience with the Microsoft security stack.
  • We value experience administering a CRM, field service, or operations platform such as Jobber, Ontraccr, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
  • We need strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, along with clear communication and a customer-focused approach.
  • We require the ability to manage competing priorities independently in a fast-paced, multi-division setting.
  • Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, implementing AI tools in a business environment, and relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, SC-900, SC-300, AZ-900, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL Foundation.
  • We require candidates to be comfortable working in person in our office environment.
  • We require candidates to be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
  • We administer our Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • We manage user accounts, access rights, licensing, security groups, and onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • We oversee software licensing, renewals, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • We monitor system performance and recommend infrastructure enhancements.
  • We maintain cybersecurity policies and best practices, including Microsoft Defender, MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint protection.
  • We review security alerts, investigate threats, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • We support security awareness training and business continuity planning across the organization.
  • We administer and maintain Jobber and Ontraccr, including user setup, workflows, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • We manage integrations between Jobber, Ontraccr, Microsoft 365, and other business systems.
  • We support user training and adoption while identifying process improvement opportunities through platform enhancements.
  • We provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and application issues, escalating to vendors when needed.
  • We procure, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, while maintaining hardware inventory and managing warranties and supplier relationships.
  • We create documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides.
  • We identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve operations and implement approved solutions.
  • We build automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies.
  • We assist with technology budgeting, planning, and evaluation of emerging tools.
