Client Services Representative – Environmental Summary: The Client Services Representative (CSR) is the primary link between the laboratory and clients, providing technical information and ensuring a seamless client experience.

This role requires accuracy, patience, and strong communication skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

A cooperative, team-focused mindset and commitment to quality service are essential.

Guided by the Client Services Manager or Supervisor, the CSR upholds the company’s promise of "Service Beyond Analysis".

What you will be doing: Serve as the main client liaison, embodying AGAT’s mission of Service Beyond Analysis through timely, accurate communication and support.

Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing technical details, pricing, and sampling requirements, and coordinating laboratory testing or subcontracting as needed.

Manage client projects end-to-end — from sample receipt to reporting, exports, and invoicing — ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

Collaborate with internal teams (Laboratory, Logistics, Accounting, and Sales) to resolve issues, process requests, and maintain workflow efficiency.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, problem-solving, and regular meetings.

Support team development, participate in audits, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Client Services department.

What you bring to the table: Minimum 1-2 years laboratory or customer service Confident computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office and Excel, Laboratory Information Management Systems [LIMS] and Reporting Systems) Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; confident telephone communications essential Patience; customer rapport building skills are essential Ability to mentor others in the team Excellent organization and time management skills Attention to detail for routine tasks and commitment to quality standards Effective problem solving skills Ability to work independently under pressure Previous Customer Service experience and team-oriented focus is essential Why Join Us?
