At Westeck, we don't just manufacture windows and doors, we help create the spaces where people live, gather, and make memories. Known for quality, innovation, and attention to detail, we are proud to build products that are featured in some of the most beautiful custom homes across North America.

We are looking for a Production Worker III to join our Specials Department, where no two days are exactly the same. This role is responsible for building custom windows with unique shapes, sizes, and configurations that require a higher level of skill, precision, and problem-solving than standard production work.

If you enjoy working with your hands, reading technical drawings, tackling unique challenges, and seeing a project through from start to finish, this could be the role for you.

What You'll Do

As a Production Worker III in Specials, you will be responsible for the complete assembly of custom window products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating measurements and angles required for custom window designs
  • Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials using saws and other equipment
  • Building custom and unconventional window shapes and layouts
  • Welding, corner cleaning, and shaping materials to specification
  • Performing glazing work on specialty products such as circles, ovals, and corner windows
  • Inspecting materials before assembly and ensuring quality throughout the build process
  • Troubleshooting issues and identifying solutions to reduce waste and maintain quality
  • Performing final quality inspections before products move to the next stage
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe work environment

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who takes pride in building exceptional products and delivering quality results.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in custom manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, woodworking, machining, construction, or a related field
  • Experience using hand tools, saws, and production equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD drawings
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

Assets

  • Experience building custom products or working in specialty manufacturing
  • Experience with TIG welding
  • Experience bending or shaping vinyl materials
  • Previous window, door, fenestration, or construction industry experience

Why Join Westeck?

When you join our team, you'll find:

  • Meaningful work creating premium custom products

  • A culture built on teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and doing things the right way
  • Stable, year-round employment with a growing Canadian manufacturer

  • Automatic wage increase after 6 months worked
  • Comprehensive health & wellness benefits, including extended health, dental, vision, disability & life insurance coverage
  • Employer RRSP matching of up to 4%
  • The opportunity to work on unique, high-quality custom projects
  • Career growth opportunities within a growing manufacturing organization

Physical Requirements

This is a physically active manufacturing role that requires:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout your shift
  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs (34 kg)
