Job description
HIRING FOR A SANITATION WORKER!

Are you eager and excited to start a new job in a warehouse?
We are currently seeking a Sanitation Worker who is focused and dependable to join a team of our esteemed client in British Columbia. In addition to sanitation responsibilities, you will play an integral role in daily material handling tasks, helping ensure a safe, clean and efficient work environment.


Location:
Campbell Heights, South Surrey

Note- This is a combined role- Sanitation Worker + Material Handler

- Steel toe CSA approved safety shoes/boots required

- Work Permit (Applied status candidates are also accepted)/ PR/ Citizens

- This opportunity is not for Students

Responsibilities
Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Sanitation Duties (Approximately 70% of duties)
- General cleaning of employee washrooms and lunchrooms
- Emptying garbage bins
- Assisting with cleaning tasks on the warehouse floor as needed
- Other cleaning duties as assigned

Warehouse Duties (Approximately 30% of duties)
- Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders, receive and process new inventory, and inspect all receivables for defects, damages, or missing items.
- Perform detailed manual inventory counts, properly scan inventory and incoming goods, and label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval.
- Pick, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment, double-checking items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned by management to support daily operations.


Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Sense of urgency
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to follow precise verbal and written instructions
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak and receive instruction and directions in English
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

Summary
Eligible candidates must also be able to pass basic Health & Safety training.
