We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient and effective use of stock, and collaborating with various teams to enhance supply chain efficiency. This role is located in Paris, ON.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently manage and optimize inventory levels to maximize warehouse space utilization and inventory turnover
- Strategically plan and implement inventory management operations, including physical inventory planning and cycle counting
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Estimating and Production teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Monitor and resolve issues related to slow moving and obsolete inventories, and report the same to management
- Develop strategies to improve inventory accuracy across manufacturing plants
- Ensure all stock jobs are monitored and all inventory is received
- Analyze inventory usage data and collaborate with procurement to determine future business requirements
- Lead strategic inventory-related projects, identifying key stakeholders, and managing a plan to meet business objectives
- Prepare and present data reports for internal and external audits
- Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and other relevant software for efficient inventory management and data analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
- Strong skills in auditing, with a focus on inventory control
- Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for inventory analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in handling large data sets
- Experience conducting annual inventory and annual physical inventories
- Knowledge of asset inventory management
- Ability to analyze variance in inventory levels and suggest corrective actions
- Experience in analyzing trends in inventory to optimize stock levels
- Expertise in inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate record
- Experience in managing inventory variance, identifying discrepancies and implementing solutions.
