Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for our client in Winnipeg, MB. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, forklift operation, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer service.
You will spend approximately 75% of their time supporting warehouse and forklift operations and 25% assisting customers, processing inquiries, and supporting counter sales activities. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both hands-on warehouse work and customer interaction.

  • Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour (based on experience and forklift certification)
  • Location: Winnipeg, MB
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
  • Enter purchase receipts and inventory information into company systems.
  • Perform quality inspections when required.
  • Store products in designated warehouse locations and assist with inventory organization.
  • Pick, pack, weigh, and label customer orders for shipment.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, and delivery records.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Process returned materials and complete required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and relocate warehouse storage systems as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Customer Service & General Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Support counter sales activities and assist customers with product requests.
  • Record and address customer concerns related to products or services.
  • Escalate customer issues to management when required.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels in customer-facing areas.
  • Deliver professional and courteous customer service at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
  • Forklift certification is considered an asset
  • Basic computer skills and experience entering inventory or order information into computer systems.
  • Previous customer service, retail, sales, or counter service experience preferred.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment and in varying weather conditions when required
  • Ability to safely use hand tools and warehouse equipment
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
