  • Identify and provide supporting data for business risks and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems that contribute to effective information management across the global distribution network.
  • Collaborate with site and global leadership to identify and develop project planning strategies, defining requirements, scopes, and objectives.
  • Assist in the recommendation, selection, and management of vendors and the procurement of production equipment.

YOU ARE

  • Able to prioritize, organize, and provide focus and direction.
  • A problem solver who can quickly identify and act on solutions.
  • An analytical, innovative, and strategic thinker who must think outside the box.
  • Able to work well with management and peers to build and maintain relationships.
  • An effective communicator to all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team dynamic with Operations.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in applicable field, such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Previous advanced experience with Industrial Engineering, with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions that drive organizational profitability and service levels.
  • Accredited Lean Six Sigma Belt preferred, and previous experience with statistical analyses and leading Kaizen events.
  • An understanding of and/or implementing experience with distribution operations, best practices, and automation.
  • Experience working with SQL and database reporting and query platforms, including Microsoft Power BI.
  • Previous experience within a distribution/fulfillment center (an asset).
  • Strong analytical, project, and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of interpreting business/operational needs and translating them into operational process requirements.
  • Accountability for ideas from inception to delivery, in an environment that requires robust metrics to confirm success.
