The practice is dedicated to providing top-tier optometric care to the community. Known for its patient-centered approach, the company strives to deliver excellent eye care services tailored to individual needs.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometric Assistant located in Windsor, ON. The Optometric Assistant will be responsible for various duties including appointment scheduling, providing customer service, and assisting the optometrist with patient care during examinations. Additional tasks may include performing pre-testing procedures, maintaining patient records, and training new staff members.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Optometry and relevant clinical procedures
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in Appointment Scheduling and managing patient records
- Ability to provide training and guidance to staff members
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a busy clinical environment
- Previous experience in an optometric or medical office setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Medical or Optometric Assisting is advantageous
