Joseph Richard Group is a collection of unique hospitality ventures owned by André Joseph Bourque and Ryan Richard Moreno. With first-class offerings, an acclaimed culinary team, and a genuinely kind-hearted service team, our mission is to make this your moment!

There’s something about a walk beneath the canopy of an old-growth forest, or a brisk stroll along the seawall, that awakens the senses and reinvigorates the soul. Experiences like these stay with you - and that’s what we strive to create for every guest who visits us.

Our Brewing Team crafts a lineup of beers inspired by the nature that surrounds us, while our Culinary Team creates a menu designed to complement those beers and showcase some of the finest food and beverage in the area. As part of our Service Team, you help bring these offerings to life through genuine hospitality, knowledge, and care.

Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub is nestled in the heart of Stanley Park, surrounded by stunning scenery, sporting activities, and just steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada.

We are currently looking to add to our stellar team for the summer season. Our team is thoughtfully built to deliver exceptional service and memorable guest experiences, while fostering a diverse, dynamic, caring, and fun workplace - all within the unique and inspiring setting of Stanley Park. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Collaborative, open, and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Positive, attentive, and motivated to learn
  • Friendly, engaging, and guest-focused

As a Service Assistant, you will:

  • Participate in regular Beer School sessions to build and grow your product knowledge
  • Provide excellent customer service and accurate information to support a positive guest experience
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain smooth service flow
  • Prepare dining areas prior to guest seating
  • Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while supporting your teammates
  • Deliver food to tables promptly and with care
  • Assist with daily and weekly scheduled cleaning duties to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment

Before you apply, please ensure you:

  • Hold a valid work permit for the duration of your employment, if applicable
  • Hold a valid Serving It Right certification
  • Are able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Assets for this role include:

  • A valid First Aid certification
  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or other relevant customer service role

This is a seasonal position ending October 13, 2026, with the potential for extension depending on business needs. Hours and shifts may vary. We strictly adhere to all work permit hour restrictions.

We look forward to hearing from you.
