Our client, a leader in automated manufacturing solutions, is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be part of the Electrical Assembly Department supporting the assembly and wiring of control panels and field devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Location: Markham, ON

Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm - 1:00am, Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm (afternoon shift includes a 10% shift premium)

What's the Job?

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and device layout drawings
• Building control panels and executing precise point-to-point wiring for machinery panels
• Wiring and connecting field control devices, including motors and transformers
• Conducting tests, debugging, and troubleshooting electrical systems, including PLC-based systems
• Installing and troubleshooting machinery at customer sites and on-site locations

What's Needed?

• College Diploma or Electrical Certification with 4+ years of experience in electrical system assembly for automated machinery
• Proven ability to interpret electrical drawings and wiring components accurately
• Experience with high voltage equipment (600V, 480V, 208V) and safe operation of machine shop tools
• Ability to travel globally up to 30-60%, with valid passport
• Knowledge of industrial electrical standards, PLCs, sensors, motor control drives, and pneumatic controls
