Job description

Are you looking for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with 3-day weekends? We are hiring a Night Shift Assembler for a metal manufacturing facility in Brantford, ON, conveniently located on a local public transit bus route. Working within manufacturing & logistics, you will assemble structural metal components using hand and power tools in a modern, safety-focused environment.

This position runs Monday to Thursday from 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. Base pay is $26.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 to $2.00 per hour shift and experience premium (earning up to $28.00/hr).

Responsibilities
Assemble structural metal sub-assemblies following mechanical drawings and work orders.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic equipment, and grinders.
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks using calipers and measuring tapes.
• Safely maneuver metal components using hoists and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and adhere to all health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications
1+ years of experience in metal assembly or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Full availability for the night shift schedule (Mon–Thu, 5:30 PM–4:00 AM).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations.
• CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots required.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and industrial power tools.
• Ability to read basic assembly schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precise measuring capabilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
