ABL EmploymentStoney Creek, ONWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Millwright Apprentice to join our dynamic team in a foundry environment specializing in the casting of zinc and aluminum products. The successful candidate will work closely with the current Millwright, who will mentor, coach, and train on various equipment and job requirements. As our current Millwright is set to retire in a few years, this is an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Responsibilities :
Hydraulics and Pneumatics : Understand and troubleshoot systems for optimal operation.
- Welding Expertise : Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding for fabrication, repairs, and maintenance.
Machine Operations : Operate and maintain various machines, including CNC machines, grinders, and cleaning machines.
Equipment Maintenance : Conduct routine inspections and repairs to ensure efficiency and safety.
Training and Mentorship : Learn from the current Millwright, assisting in training as needed.
Qualifications :
Working toward a valid Millwright license 443A must have at least 5000 hours
Welding : Experience in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
Mechanical Aptitude : Strong interest and aptitude for working with various machines.
Communication Skills : Effective communication for teamwork and learning.
Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced foundry environment and learn new technologies.
