Job description

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top distribution company in Brampton who needs to hire a Warehouse Manager for a straight day shift (8am – 5pm). To be considered, you will need work experience as a Warehouse Manager while working for a distribution company where you oversaw a team of 30 people. To attract the best talent, my client is offering a competitive pay rate ($90,000 - $95,000 / year), a good benefits program and a place where you can grow your career.

This role is 100% on site

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years of experience working in a distribution warehouse
At least 3 years of work experience as a Warehouse Manager
Experience managing a team of around 30 people which could include forklift drivers as well as pickers / packers
Familiarity with RF Scanners

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that warehouse cycle process flow performs at company standards, Makes improvements to process flow when necessary.

Provide direction to supervisor / associates

Ensures that training, safety, quality and personnel needs are met in accordance with company policies and procedures

Maintain continuous cycle count operation to monitor the accuracy and efficiency of inventory record system

Monitor the ongoing maintenance and service of all vehicles in the warehouse

Interface with necessary departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products and to resolve inventory and customer discrepancies

Work closely with the Inventory team and Management to execute inventory operations and requirements
