We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to our client in Milton.

• # 194835: The student is a 4-year-old child and needs to work with a Brazilian Portuguese-speaking teacher Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home near Cedar Hedge Park, Milton, ON (L9T 6J4) Availability: Weekdays from 4 to 6pm Lesson Frequency and Duration: Twice per week, 45 minutes per session Start date: March 2026 Current target language level: Beginner Native language: Brazilian Portuguese Student's language needs and goals: With the lessons, he should be able to interact confidently at school, make academic progress, and accelerate his overall learning.

His parents are looking for a teacher who is experienced with children and can create fun, dynamic lessons using a playful, child‑centered learning methodology.

This approach will help him adapt to his new reality and build a strong foundation in the language, starting from the basics.

Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience Teacher must speak Brazilian Portuguese All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
