Contributes to the overall success of the Global Marketing department by performing financial and operations management duties related to international marketing budgets ensuring that plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will :

  • Manages marketing budgets in various countries outside Canada, handling annual planning, variance analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Cultivates relationships with global Marketing, Finance, and business staff, facilitating stakeholder discussions to align marketing budgets with targets.
  • Delivers financial analysis in support of business transformation initiatives and executive-level decision making.
  • Manages remote matrixed team responsible for accounts payable operations and expense tracking.
  • Develops and implements expense management processes and internal controls across multiple countries.
  • Provides support to Global Marketing’s senior management team in functional areas such as Procurement, Audit, and Transfer-Pricing.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with :

  • University degree with Major in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset.
  • 5-10 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting role.
  • Fluent Spanish speaker.
  • Understanding of International Banking Finance policy and procedures including Transfer Pricing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiating skills required to build constructive, supported solutions and obtain approvals from the senior management team of Global Marketing.
  • The incumbent must demonstrate significant maturity and credibility in dealing with executives, and must be able to work on a highly independent basis.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented worker who seeks perfection
