One of our client's corporate Products team is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support the enhancement and optimization of the ServiceNow platform.
The developer will play a key role in delivering several improvements from the ServiceNow product backlog.
Key Responsibilities : The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for delivering the following services :
Collaborate with the technical team to develop and implement ServiceNow solutions, including workflows, processes, and reports.
This involves the full lifecycle of development, from requirements analysis, design, and testing to implementation, quality assurance, and documentation.
- Conduct regular platform testing, manage module administration (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITAM), and perform security administration, integration testing, and application upgrades as necessary.
- Analyze and implement software change requests and enhancements, ensuring timely updates to the production environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, fix defects, and provide ongoing support for applications developed by the ServiceNow team.
Required Experience and Qualifications : The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience :
- 3-5 years of ServiceNow administration and implementation experience, including hands-on experience managing a ServiceNow instance, ensuring platform security, gathering and interpreting business requirements, and developing workflows, business rules, UI components, ACLs, and catalog items.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and / or Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM or ITOM.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Custom Tables, and HTML / CSS for ServiceNow customization is an asset.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow applications with third-party systems via APIs is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into simple terms.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage workload efficiently.
- A strong team player who can also work independently, maintaining a client- and user-focused orientation.
