Slated to open in spring 2024, Queen’s Cross will transform 19,000 square feet of the south side of the shopping centre into a modern-day food emporium with seating to accommodate 300 guests.

Job Description
A Grab & Go Attendant / Barista has a passion for customer service and is able to greet, prepare food & beverages, serve, and cash out guests with a smile.
An ability to work independently and as part of a team is important while creating an exceptional experience for all. Our Grab & Go Attendants / Baristas are fanatical about cleanliness and pay close attention to detail.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
- Answer questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services
- Prepare cold and hot beverages to O&B standards
- Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
- Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
- Monitor the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products
- Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
- Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
- Follow all food safety standards and systems
- Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience desirable
- High attention to detail and cleanliness
- Passionate about customer service
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and sales ability
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests
- Experience in a similar environment an asset
