Insurance Broker

Reporting to the Manager, Growth Administration, the Insurance Broker is responsible for supporting the Account Executives.

You have the opportunity to impact the retention of existing clients by supporting data entry and policy issuance renewals, new business and endorsements.

Here is what a typical day looks like

• Assist customers with their daily insurance needs via phone, in person and by email
• Manage walk-in queries, sales and up-selling of products to existing clients
• Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
• Continue self-development through industry and training and other courses
• Generate leads through existing clients
• Knowledge of each Insurance Company's products, endorsements, packages and payment plans

The value you bring

• Solid understanding of policy wordings / coverages
• Previous experience within Commercial Insurance is an asset
• Strong sales and presentation skills
• Experience achieving sales targets individual and as a team
• Well versed in navigating multiple computer programs at once
• Working experience in EPIC an asset

Hours : Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours / week

Location : Winnipeg, MB

Salary Range : $45,000 -$61,000
