Job Title : Controls Programmer & Commissioning Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Programmer & Commissioning Specialist to develop, configure, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for oil & gas facilities. This role emphasizes programming Rockwell / Allen‑Bradley platforms and configuring HMI / SCADA systems, with exposure to Schneider / Modicon environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Program Rockwell / Allen‑Bradley platforms (ControlLogix / CompactLogix).
• Configure FactoryTalk View or AVEVA Wonderware HMI / SCADA systems.
• Translate control narratives into structured PLC logic.
• Build HMI screens and configure alarms.
• Validate system functionality during FAT / SAT and on-site commissioning rotations.
• Troubleshoot I / O, device communication, interlocks, and startup issues.
• Perform loop tuning and verify system performance.
• Implement changes through proper version control and documentation practices.
• Work closely with field technicians and design engineers.
• Commit to regular travel for commissioning support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00 / yr.
