Position Overview

As an Operations Engineering Intern, you will assist with key projects and initiatives related to supply chain optimization, inventory management, and process engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze operations, and provide actionable insights to drive improvements in operational efficiency. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in the intersection of engineering and supply chain operations, while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Optimization : Assist in analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes, including inventory tracking, procurement, and logistics. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and help recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Inventory Management : Support efforts to maintain accurate inventory levels, forecast demand, and track stock movements. Collaborate on setting up inventory control systems to reduce excess stock or shortages.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Use data analytics tools to gather and analyze operational data related to inventory, supply chain performance, and demand forecasting. Provide regular reports to senior team members.
  • Process Improvement : Work with the engineering team to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance system integration between supply chain functions. Assist in the implementation of automation tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Technology Integration : Help support the integration of new software tools (e.g., ERP, WMS) into operations, including testing, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with teams such as procurement, logistics, and warehouse management to ensure seamless flow of goods and accurate data. Assist in the development of best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of process workflows, systems, and inventory management guidelines.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Operations Management , Logistics , Industrial Engineering , Computer Science , or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
