Senior On-Chain Product Manager

Figment
Toronto, ON, CA
$160K-$190K a year
Full-time

Figment is the world's leading provider of blockchain infrastructure. We provide the most comprehensive staking solution for our over 500+ institutional clients including exchanges, wallets, foundations, custodians, and large token holders to earn rewards on their crypto assets.

These clients rely on Figment's institutional staking service including rewards optimization, rapid API development, rewards reporting, partner integrations, governance, and slashing protection.

Figment is backed by industry experts, financial institutions and our global team across twenty three countries. This all leads to our mission to support the adoption, growth and long term success of the Web3 ecosystem.

We are a growth stage technology company - looking for people who are builders and doers. People who are comfortable plotting their course through ambiguity and uncertainty to drive impact and who are excited to work in new ways and empower a generative company culture.

About this role

Figment serves a diverse range of clients, from new token holders staking ETH or SOL for the first time to crypto-native venture capitalists supporting new blockchains.

These clients rely on Figment for products and expertise that provide them with a simple and secure experience that abstracts away the complexities of blockchain technology.

As a Senior On-Chain Product Manager, you'll gain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and leverage on-chain solutions, like smart contracts, to create products that address those needs effectively.

Your role will involve building innovative solutions to unlock new reward opportunities for our clients, streamlining the staking integration process, and enhancing our billing and remittance systems.

You'll help ensure Figment remains a market leader by staying at the forefront of on-chain product innovation as the Product expert in this area.

And, along the way, you'll enjoy working with a collaborative team in an exciting, rapidly growing industry.

What you will be doing

  • Own the on-chain product roadmap
  • Leverage data, research, user feedback, and market analysis to inform product requirements
  • Understand, advocate for, and build trusted relationships with our customers
  • Collaborate across the organization with teammates from Data Science, Engineering, DevOps, Marketing, and Design to build and release high impact products and features
  • Deliver products aligned with Figment's mission that advance our strategic and competitive position

What you bring to the table

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Crypto or on-chain experience with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Strong empathy for users and stakeholders
  • Proven success collaborating with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to drive innovation
  • A highly analytical approach with the ability to make decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data
  • A sense of extreme ownership, autonomy, and initiative
  • Know what it takes to thrive in a remote work environment
  • Based in North America

Even better if you have

  • Knowledge of Ethereum, Solana, or other Proof-of-Stake blockchains
  • Experience creating products that use crypto or on-chain solutions (e.g., smart contracts) to tackle hard-to-solve problems
  • A technical background (e.g., former software engineer, engineering or computer science degree)
