About Us

The Baycrest Corporate Centre for Geriatric Care (BCCGC) serves as the corporate head office for the Baycrest Seniors Care family of companies, supporting our hospital, long-term care home, research centre, education programs and residential living communities. As the administrative and organizational hub of a system fully dedicated to aging and brain health, BCCGC brings people, our shared values and system-wide services together to strengthen care and experiences for older adults.

Grounded in the values of being inclusive, collaborative, ambitious, respectful and excellent, BCCGC fosters an environment where teams thrive and collaboration drives success. From enterprise planning to day-to-day operational support, BCCGC helps ensure the Baycrest vision — a world where every older person lives with purpose, fulfilment and dignity — comes to life.

  • Provide strategic leadership for organizational design, leadership development, team effectiveness, and culture initiatives that enhance organizational performance.
  • Lead enterprise-wide change and transformation initiatives using structured change management methodologies.
  • Build organizational capability for effective change leadership and continuous improvement.

  • Foster a high-performing and inclusive culture aligned with Baycrest’s values

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)

  • Advance Baycrest’s EDI strategy by embedding inclusive and equitable practices across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure EDI initiatives are measurable, impactful, and integrated into leadership, talent, and organizational effectiveness practices.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), inclusive leadership development, and equitable people practices that foster belonging and psychological safety.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen inclusion, accessibility, and cultural competence across the organization.

Leadership & Stewardship

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team
  • Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and program delivery
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization to ensure alignment and impact

Who You Are

  • A strategic HR leader with experience advancing enterprise HR programs and workforce strategies
  • Skilled at integrating organizational effectiveness and EDI into practical HR solutions
  • An exceptional communicator and influencer who effectively engages senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experienced in leading large-scale organizational change and transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Skilled at balancing competing priorities and leading through ambiguity and change.
  • A collaborative and values-driven leader who fosters trust, inclusion, accountability, and innovation.
  • Passionate about building culture, developing people, and enabling organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Adult Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, and Organizational Effectiveness, including experience leading enterprise HR programs and workforce strategies in complex organizations.
  • Experience working in complex or regulated environments; familiarity with healthcare or public sector settings is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and transformation initiatives, with the ability to translate strategy into practical, sustainable outcomes
  • Strong background in HR program design and delivery, including areas such as workforce planning, employee experience, leadership development, and organizational performance.
  • Experience applying organizational effectiveness practices (e.g., organizational design, change leadership, team effectiveness) to support business and workforce priorities.
  • Deep understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) principles, with experience embedding inclusive practices into HR programs and workplace culture.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes
