Since our establishment in 2013, we have facilitated over $100 million in funding for international projects and more than $60M in grants to qualified donees in Canada.
Charities Aid Foundation History
CAF Canada (Charities Aid Foundation Canada) was established with the aim of transforming the culture of giving.
Building on the successful track record of the original CAF Office, CAF UK, which was founded in 1924, and CAF America established in 1992, CAF Canada is a proud member of the CAF Group, which includes Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in the UK, CAF Bank, CAF America, and CAF Canada.
Our success is built on strong relationships with individuals, corporations, families, and private and community foundation donors. Currently, the CAF Group manages more than $4 billion in charitable funds globally.
Our Mission and Unique Donor Value
Our mission is to help donors make informed philanthropic decisions that have a long-lasting impact on the communities they wish to support, anywhere in the world. CAF Canada is expanding our country’s culture of giving by partnering with NGO’s around the globe, enabling Canadians to fulfill their philanthropic wishes by supporting both new and ongoing project work.
We work in collaboration with a growing number of diverse philanthropic organizations worldwide to provide opportunities for cross-border giving that meets both the donor’s philanthropic goals, and the highest regulatory standards. Moreover, we create and fund distinct projects that provide support to our project partners while fulfilling our own charitable objects.
