Position Overview :

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining the product strategy and vision for their specific value-stream(s) within their area and for leading the team to bring strategy and vision to life.

Working closely with your core stakeholders (Marketing, Commercial, Technology, etc.), you will own the development of your forward-looking roadmap building, prioritizing the work for the development teams.

You will participate in our quarterly planning processes, communicating your vision for the value-stream and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure we have our teams working on the right things.

You will balance business, technical, and user experience needs through negotiation and navigation across an evolving organizational structure, including sourcing input from various stakeholders and lines of business.

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Senior Product Manager for Travel is responsible for driving the product vision and execution for the AIR MILES Travel program.

You will work closely with our Commercial, Design, and Technology teams to identify the next features and enhancements as we continue to improve our recently launched platform.

We are moving past the hypercare stage for the platform and are ready to re-focus our efforts on scaling the platform and improving the Collector experience.

The role also manages two Product Owners that drive roadmap execution as well as managing the relationship with our major vendor.

Qualifications :

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, business strategy, or technology.
  • You combine business-savvy and agile mindsets.
  • CSPO, MBA, or similar mix of certifications & experience are an asset but not required.
  • Experience in the travel space, specifically dealing with travel technology, is a big plus.
  • You have concrete examples of how you’ve brought digital experiences to life in the mobile space.
  • You’ve got the big three Product skills in spades : Passion, vision, and clear communication.
  • You can confidently guide a product team to turn a vision into clear business requirements and know how to sequence the work to maximize value for users.
  • You’re detail-oriented and understand the value of prioritization, so handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is a snap.
  • You can think strategically and execute methodically, and switching between the two comes naturally.
  • You’re driven by the idea of building relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with and inspiring confidence across multiple teams.
  • You are a great storyteller that knows what it takes to turn complex themes, goals, and data into digestible, straightforward narratives.
  • You take pride in owning a product and are ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
