Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for interacting with customers that require overhead crane repair parts and maintenance services.
Your role will involve coordinating service appointments, ordering and quoting parts, invoicing completed work, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire service process.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers on a daily basis
- Schedule Service Technician's appointments throughout the week
- Resolve any issues Technicians experience in the field
- Accurately quote parts based on the Service Technician's recommendations
- Obtain customer approval for quoted work
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, service orders, and invoices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in field service or the overhead crane industry is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dispatch systems and supplier parts websites is considered a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. This requires comfort using the phone to call customers and technicians on a daily basis
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on managing field service personnel
