Job descriptionManage the grant application process, including coordinating with clients to gather necessary information Track and report on the status of assigned grant applications, ensuring deadlines are met Provide post-submission follow-up, including responding to funders' inquiries as needed Ensure all grant proposals are thoroughly documented and compliant with funders' guidelines Maintain accurate records of assigned grant submissions Communicate effectively with clients throughout the grant application process Provide regular updates on the status of applications Advanced degree in a relevant field (STEM, Business, English, or related) 2-5 years of grant writing experience, preferably in the Canadian R&D and Innovation sector Proven track record of securing grants (please list examples in your application) Strong technical acumen and ability to understand complex scientific / technological concepts Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling narratives Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with or understanding of startups or scale-ups is a plus Familiarity with grants in areas such as med tech, agriculture, AI, or software development is beneficial Opportunity to work on diverse and innovative projects Flexible, remote work arrangement Collaborate with a team of experts in the R&D and Innovation space Potential for ongoing contract work based on performance

We work with businesses across various sectors, providing expert guidance on securing non-dilutive funding through grants, subsidies, and tax credits.
Position Overview : We are seeking talented junior contract grant writers to join our team on a project-to-project basis. The ideal candidates will have strong writing skills, technical acumen, and the ability to understand and communicate complex R&D projects.
